How to get it

Hold an active MA Journeyman Plumber license for at least 1 year, then pass the MA Master Plumber exam (covers 248 CMR Plumbing Code, business law, blueprint reading, sizing).

Exam + license fee: ~$200–$350. Biennial renewal: ~$100 + Board-approved CE hours.
